AK Stamping's development cycle begins with custom ideas and concepts that are developed into quality finished products. Attention is given at each stage, knowing that every step along the way is integral to the success of the project.
Engagement with customer engineers from the very beginning, working to design new solutions and products, ensures quality product development. Through initial research and development, ideas and concepts are analyzed in a variety of ways, including researching materials and new technology applications. Product design then begins with manufacturing analysis and part simulation. Our prototype support has quick turn, stage tool options, and a brief 2-3 week lead time. The tooling is all done in-house, from the tool design to the tool build. Projects are then ramped up into high volume and sustainable production.
